Pub Crawl! Come and meet new people and explore new bars with this simple event. 3 venues, 3 drinks included (beer, wine or soft drink), and a host to greet you and make introductions. What a deal!

Whilst simple, there’s just something about a pub crawl that makes it a special night out. Perhaps it’s trying different venues and menus, the ever changing surroundings or the fact that you’ve always moving.  Perhaps it’s because you aren’t ‘paired up’ and forced to talk to everyone, like that corporate inhouse teambuilding event last January. Whatever it is – it makes meeting people and having a good night out that much easier and we have an age grouping of 30s & 40s so you don’t have to worry about running into that year 12 student you taught last year.

The dress theme for tonight is a ‘Traffic Light Party’ dress code which means the following:

Red – Red means stop, this person is unavailable!

Yellow/orange – Dressing in yellow or orange means you’re neither single nor taken. You’re in a ‘situationship’ perhaps; or just not ready at the moment

Green – Single ready to mingle!

For this pub crawl we are exploring the hidden bars of Woolloongabba – with secret entrances and converted antique stores. We have our own space booked at each venue, so knowing who’s in our group will be a given. We visit each venue according to the following schedule:

7-8 Electric Avenue, we have the ‘Toy Store’ booked

8-9 The Secret Garden @ Canvas Club

9-10:30 Copacabana Bar @ Mr Badgers

So come exploring and meet some people your own age in space that’s pressure free, where there’s always something happening 🙂

FAQ:

Q: Is this a singles event?  A: No couples are welcome!

The problem with singles events can be the: ‘Why aren’t all these women interested in me, they are supposed to be single’ vibe. You don’t need those expectations, this is just a fun night out for everyone. If someone is too much be sure to let the organisers know. 

Q: How do we find you? A: Head to 23 Electric Avenue and ask the staff to direct you to the Toy Store

Q: How do we get our drinks? A: Once you arrive, the host will tick your name off and give you a drink voucher. You can then exchange this at the bar for a tap beer, house wine or soft drink. You get one voucher for each new venue. 

Q: I’m running late, what do I do? A: Check the itinerary above and meet us at whichever venue we’re at when you arrive

Q: Can we take our drinks with us from one venue to the next? A: No, sorry. Once the turn of the hour is approaching, be sure to finish your drinks and don’t order another pint. We leave each venue on the hour.

Q: How many people will be there? A: 35 only!

Q: Is there much walking from one venue to the next? A: No, it’s basically crossing the road – we are that good at organising pub crawls!
